The role 
 Reporting directly to the Japan Automotive practice head. You will be working at a client location as Onsite Lead. Communicating with customer and Project scheduling with all stake holder’s agreement, monitoring work progress and updating it to customer, coordinating with offshore to get desired quality without schedule delay. 
 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Supporting Automotive Seating design and development 
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives 
  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information 
  • Ensure flawless communication in meeting customer requirements and completing the task within the deadline 
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports 
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality reviews 
  • CATIA V5/NX- Surfacing, 3D Modeling, Detailing, Assembly 
  • Packaging study, Layout study, Regulations study along with surrounding parts 
 
Profile 
Mandatory  
  • Overall 10+ years of experience in Automotive product design and development 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Seat design (resin, metal, electrical, electronics & Complete seating) 
  • Proficient level in Japanese language (should be able to read/write) 
  • Proficient in CAD software like CATIA V5/UG-NX 
  • Experience in Project Management, handling customer and global team 
  • English communication (business level) 
  • Japanese level: Able to speak fluently, write/type and read (Proficient level) 
 
Preferred   
  • BE/B.Tech – Mechanical, Electrical 
  • Experience in Team Center would be added advantage 
  • Basic knowledge of CAE and CAE result interpretation 
  • Knowledge on DFM, DFA, DFMEA
